Design Information:
Drawings can be provided to us electronically. We support the following CAD file formats:
- AutoCAD r12 through 2000 (dwg) files
- Drawing eXchange (dxf files)
If you are providing us with electronic files, it is critical that parts are drawn full scale. If your part is drawn in reduced scale, the scale must be clearly noted. Our CNC punch and laser software allows us to directly import and tool your CAD drawings, but the quality of the finished part out is directly related to the quality of the information in.

If you would like to submit drawings to us electronically:
- Have the object to be produced all in one layer.
- No polylines, curves as exploded arcs or circles.
- As few layers as possible, and layers clearly named
(i.e. DIM,CENTRE,OBJECT,HIDDEN)
Parts must be drawn to scale, or to a reduced clearly noted scale Please no XREFS or blocks that depend on other drawings. For metric drawings, please dimension with Imperial alternate units wherever possible.
Many CAD systems now offer fold/unfold capability for sheet metal development. If you are making use of this feature, please also include a clearly dimensioned three view developed part drawing with critical dimensions indicated.
If CAD files are not available, PDF documents or other raster image formats are acceptable, however raster files are not useful for direct import in to our CNC software.
You can also fax us drawings at (905) 564-0013
